White Friday - Our Biggest Sale Yet
We’re just a few hours away from our huge White Friday sale, and to help our brides-to-be say yes for less, here’s our 3 secrets to sample sale shopping success!
1. Do Your Research
First things first, do your research! While the sound of discount pricing on stunning gowns can have you flocking to the boutique’s door, make sure you check that the store is the right fit for you! If you’re looking for a sleek fitted simple dress like Alate, don’t go to a store that specializes in elaborate ballgowns. If your style is a soft tulle skirt with a detailed bodice like Belinda, then try not to shop somewhere that only retails satin and mikado designers. Here at Revelle Bridal we have a mix of designers and styles that are fashion-forward, taking tradition and making it modern. All our designers are listed on our website, and all of our gowns on our Shop tab are included in the sale, as well as others.
2. Check Your Size!
Ordinarily when it comes to wedding dress shopping, our stylists will tell you not to worry about sizing, as we’d be ordering in a gown in the correct size for you. However, when it comes to buying off the rack, there are some considerations to make sure you keep in mind. With a sample dress, you’re buying the one in store, which means you either need a gown that is exactly your size, or one that is realistically alterable. On Shop Revelle, all our gowns are listed with their size and size charts, and by clicking here you can see how to measure yourself for each of these designers. Knowing your approximate bridal size will help you identify which gowns would be good options for you to try. Sale appointments are usually shorter, so going in with a clear view of what styles you most want to try and knowing that they’re going to fit - or be closer to fitting - helps maximize your time.
3. Be Ready to Say Yes!
Make sure you’re ready to find your dress! When you come to a sale event, try and ensure you’re in a position to go ahead with the dress that day if you find it. Sale events are fast-paced and often include special one-day only pricing. If you’ve never been dress shopping before, it’s always worth starting before sale season with an initial content to ensure you have time to try styles and shapes to see what works best for you. Sale appointments are usually shorter and can only allow a limited number of styles to be tried on by each bride. If you’re not sure you’re ready to commit to a gown, then sales might not be for you!
