Job Description

Revelle Bridal is a luxury bridal boutique featuring a curated collection of wedding dresses for the modern bride. We are currently looking for an experienced, professional, and passionate bridal stylist for our growing team. The position will require evening and weekend availability.

As a Bridal Stylist with Revelle, your main role will be to assist customers while they are shopping for their wedding gown or accessories as well as ensuring that the boutique is well maintained and is held to the standards of Revelle. You will be working one on one with each bride and helping them navigate our selection of gowns and accessories as well as providing professional knowledge and expertise when it comes to making their purchase.

The Bridal Stylist is primarily responsible for making the wed-to-be and their guests feel happy and comfortable throughout their consultation with the objective of making the sale. You will be responsible for pre-selecting gowns and conducting the necessary research regarding the bride’s style and vision in order to be prepared well for each consultation. During the consultation, you will demonstrate your knowledge of Revelle’s wedding gown and accessory collection in order to build the trust necessary to get the sale.

The Bridal Stylist is an individual who is friendly and welcoming; well organized and highly motivated to meet individual and team sales goals. The Bridal Stylist role has a positive impact on the entire Revelle Bridal team, our clients, guests, suppliers and the local wedding industry community as a whole.

Previous experience selling bridal gowns or high fashion is preferred but not mandatory. You must be comfortable working on a team and have the ability to work independently and under pressure as well as the capability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful working environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills in English, French would be an asset

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
  • Flexible Schedule – Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 

Responsibilities:

CLIENT SERVICE

  • Greeting clients upon entry and catering to client requests as required
  • Ensuring clients are served in a timely manner according to scheduled appointments Assisting clients with dress & accessories selection and fitting
  • Providing clients with guidance and advice on dress and accessories
  • Offering virtual appointment consultations upon request
  • Build a rapport with customers, their families and bridal parties by listening and identifying their gown criteria and assist them in finding their wedding dress
  • Assist and provide advice to customers and bridal parties when choosing their dress
  • Share your knowledge and excitement about the latest trends in bridal
  • Be honest and tell it like it is in the fitting room, giving tactful, honest feedback and guidance to customers on style, trends and fit
  • Conducting pre-consultation appointments as assigned
  • Completing research and preparation for each client in advance of each consultation
  • Checking out each customer and processing payments
  • Set up and conduct appointments
  • Following up with potential sales leads
  • Creating best sales practices and optimizing our customer’s overall shopping experience 
  • Accurately complete sales transactions and necessary paperwork
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events and in-store promotions
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the shop
  • Ensure the shop is consistently up to boutique standards
  • Set up displays and merchandise
  • Staying up to date and current on all product knowledge related to our gowns, accessories and designers
  •  Periodically studying and reviewing all PK material to ensure knowledge of each designer and all collections is satisfactory
  • Booking appointments for consultations via telephone, email or online booking system
  • Answering telephone when possible and/or retrieving voice messages and following up as
  • required
  • Various clerical, filing and administrative duties as required
  • Participating in training, meetings, and other events related to designer PK
  • Filming and photographing products for the purpose of creating content for social media and / or website content

Compensation: Hourly

Job Types: Full-time (20-25 hours per week)

Experience:

  • Sales: 2 years (Required)
  • Bridal Sales Consultant: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 5 years experience (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • French (Asset)
