Same, Same, But Different
It’s been about a month since we reopened Revelle’s doors and although we are back to taking in-person appointments, we are nowhere near “business as usual”. Still, we are SO excited to be back in the shop. We missed being in the shop and seeing our brides faces light up when they finally find THE dress. We missed seeing our brides coming in to pick up their dresses from the shop to take home and get excited for their wedding day. We missed helping our brides find the perfect accessory to add the finishing touches to their wedding day look. All the things we’ve missed since we closed our doors in March has made it even more exciting to be back in the shop!
Fresh New Look
While the shop was closed, we took the time to do some renovations to freshen up the shop and to ensure the proper safety measures were in place before we reopened. But even though the shop was closed to the public, we did not stop helping brides find their dresses even throughout the lockdown ! We were able to meet with many brides through virtual appointments and help them find THE ONE. We are thrilled for all the brides who said yes from their living rooms - we are so happy you are a #RevelleBride!
Our new normal has taken some getting used to but we’ve put some serious thought into making sure the extra precautions we’ve implemented keep our staff as well as our brides and their guests healthy and safe. Now, when brides book an appointment to try on wedding gowns at Revelle things may seem a bit different but one thing remains the same - our brides are our #1 priority. The measures we have put in place are to keep our brides, their guests and our staff safe.
To better prepare you for your appointment at Revelle, here are our safety measures:
Private Appointments Only
Maximum of bride + 2 guests please. The entire boutique to yourself.
Connect Virtually
Bring your own device and connect to our WiFi to bring other guests in on the dress shopping experience.
Health Screening
A pre-appointment health screening questionnaire will be requested for you and your guests.
Hand Sanitizer Available
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the boutique. You and your guests will be required to wash and/or sanitize your hands upon arrival.
Masks Required
You and your guests must wear a mask in our boutique. Please bring your own mask. Our stylists will also be wearing masks.
Physical Distancing Enforced
Wherever possible, we ask that you observe physical distancing of 2m apart. Our staff will be required to do the same.
1 Hour Appointments
Appointments will be 1 hour long with 30 minutes in between each one to allow staff to disinfect the shop after.
Steamed & Sanitized
All gowns and accessories that have been tried on will be steamed or sanitized after each appointment.
Regular Sanitization
Fitting rooms, desk area, and other surfaces throughout the boutique will be sanitized regularly.
Contactless Payment
Contactless payment options only. We will not accept cash during this time. Debit card terminals will be sanitized.
Virtual Appointments Still Available
Although the boutique is open to take in-person appointments, we understand not everyone is ready or able to start entering public spaces. For those who aren’t yet comfortable shopping in-person, we are happy to announce that virtual appointments are still being offered by Revelle staff. During our virtual bridal consultations, brides meet one-on-one with a bridal stylist through a video call. Your stylist will get to know you, your style and your wedding vision and will be able to show you our selection of gowns. If you end up liking our selection and are able to narrow it down to your top 2-3 choices, you can also take advantage of our “Try at Home” service where we send your top dresses choices to you to try on in the comfort and safety of your own home.
With fresh coats of paint on the walls, a fancy accessory display corner, new doors on the fitting rooms, shiny floors and brand new dresses for you to try on, we cannot wait for you to come in and see our new look!
