Q. Do I need an appointment?
Revelle Bridal operates on a by appointment basis only. By booking an appointment, we can focus on providing a personal and exceptional bridal experience. Walk-ins are welcome during our regular business hours, as long as we do not have a prior appointment booked. Book your appointment here.
Q. When should i start dress shopping ?
The lead time varies by designer but usually usually we recommend shopping as early as 10 to 12 months before your wedding date to ensure that you have enough time to visit a variety of bridal shops before making your choice.
Q. WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT ?
Choosing your wedding dress is a huge, emotional decision and often times it can be overwhelming. We want you to enjoy the process so we recommend you bring the key people in your life whose opinion you trust to. As we only have 2 fitting rooms, we do ask that you contact us directly should you wish to book for a party of 5 or more.
Q. What Happens during my INITIAL BRIDAL fitting ?
We schedule our initial bridal consultation in 1.5 hour time slots in order to give you the personalized service that you deserve. A bridal stylist will be assigned to you to find you the perfect dress according to your style preference and budget. For parties of 5 or more (including the bride) we ask that you contact us directly to book your private appointment so you have the entire shop to yourself.
Q. Where should i go for dress alterations ?
Your wedding dress is a very special purchase so we only recommend the best when it comes to alterations. Revelle Bridal works with an in-house seamstress, Teresa, who has over 16 years of bridal experience. She has extensive experience when it comes to wedding dresses so we trust her to take care of all your alteration needs. Once you have chosen your dress from the Revelle Bridal inventory, we would be happy to set you up with an appointment with Teresa to get a quote on your alterations needs. Our alterations consultations take place only on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Q. When should I order my wedding gown?
Giving yourself 10 - 12 months prior to your wedding day is a stress free way to order your dream dress. The dresses are made to order and can take between 6-8 months to make depending on the designer. When factoring in alteration time it can take up to 10 months to have your gown in-hand and fitting perfectly for the big day. That being said, we are often able to place rush orders for your wedding dress at an additional fee.
Q. What is the price range of your bridal collection?
Our gowns range in price from $1,500 to $5,000 with the average gown between $2000 to $3000. We also carry some separates that are appropriate for the bride that can accommodate lower budgets.
Q. What are the sample sizes in store?
Our sample gowns range from size 6 to 12. We do our best to buy average sizing to be able to fit as many women as possible. Many of the designers we carry offer plus sizes as well. Do not hesitate to contact us with specific questions about sizing.
Q. Is there anything I need to bring to my appointment?
Bringing a pair of heels at the height you plan to wear on your wedding day is recommended. You should also wear a strapless bra and wear light or nude undergarments.
Q. Is there parking nearby?
There is lots of free parking on the side streets around the shop.
Q. What is your return policy ?
Revelle Bridal does not accept any exchanges or refunds once you have purchased your dress and/or accessories. This policy is strictly enforced.
